A reddish-brown and white paint horse was stolen on November 28th from Cincinnati Rd. in Scott County.  The horse has a brown face with a blaze and a white forelock and is 15.1 hands.  It needs medication.  Please contact the owner at (502) 863-5822. 

Sometime between October 16-17, 2010 a horse trailer was stolen from Hiter & Brooks on Route 127 in Harrodsburg, KY.  It is a 1994 Bee, two-horse, straight load, bumper pull, steel trailer, extra tall (7'6" tall) and wide, with a square front. Removable center divider. Swinging butt & breast bars. Has a spring-loaded ramp that closes over two rear doors with removable top doors (which have windows). Color is dark gray metallic with some minor surface rust & bubble paint around locks & latches. It has full-size escape doors on each side, also with windows. Long sliding windows w/ screens on horse box & two smaller fixed ones in nose. Spare tire is mounted on side. There is some damage to  the wheel fender on the left side (as you stand at rear of trailer & look forward).
 
When stolen the trailer HAD NO FLOOR! Wood lining sides of the horse box were also partially removed.

MAYITO'S CARBON COPY, a black and white Paso Fino stallion was stolen from a pasture located 7 miles east of Clinton, MO.  He was removed from the pasture 9-16-10 after 6:00 PM.
 
MAYITO is approximately 14 Hands tall and 16 years old, with a very long mane and forelock.  A report has been filed with the Henry County Sheriff.  If you have any information about this missing horse call Bernice Kingsbury at 660-924-7279 
 

 

On 8/3/10 a large white draft type horse broke away from a trailer at Eagles Nest in Mercer County. Broken tack was found on the way to Miss Lucy's Ridge Trail. Extensive searching was not successful. The horse still was saddled, but no bridle or halter. Surrounding neighbors have been notified. If the horse is found call the Mercer County Sheriff at 859-734-4221.
UPDATE: This horse was found and returned to his owner on August 8th.

A 2007 Black & Grey Sundowner Sunlite 777 aluminum, 2 horse, bumper pull trailer with dressing room was stolen from Craig Business Forms, Lousiville on July 25th or 26th.  If you have any information about this theft contact Louisville Metro Police Department at 502-574-2135.  For more information including a photograph of the stolen trailer click here.

Snowy, a 14 hand tall, red roan, 15 year old Appaloosa mare has been missing from her Pulaski County home in Somerset, Kentucky since June 10, 2010.  If you have information about Snowy's whereabouts contact the Pulaski County Sheriff at 606-678-5145.  More information and a photo available by clicking here.

On Tuesday, March 9, 2010, a weanling/yearling colt was found in South Woodford County.  The colt looks to be gaited.  If you have any information concerning this stray/abandoned colt, please contact Woodford County Animal Control at (859) 879-0598.

UPDATE: On March 29th this colt, who evidently escaped from his pasture, was reunited with his rightful owner.
