Kentucky Equine Survey

The Kentucky Horse Council and the University of Kentucky joined forces to conduct the Kentucky Equine Survey, a comprehensive, statewide survey of all breeds of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. The KHC and UK, with support from many equine-affiliated organizations and spearheaded by the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, have partnered to measure and analyze core population, demographic and economic data in the state’s signature equine industry.
